This is the fifth of a monthly series in which I’m sharing the work of women on the web who inspire and motivate me. Maybe they’ll do the same for you.
“If we let it, our relationship with the arts can be a courageous place to discover,
express and stretch ourselves as individuals while also learning what it means to be human.”
The Sun in the fiery cardinal sign of Aries brings to mind the qualities of leadership: initiative, creativity, and passion. Jamie is a pioneer in using the internet to assist and inspire others to live creatively.
I became aware of her work when I participated in an online book blogging group, The Next Chapter, a creative satellite of Jamie Ridler Studios. If memory serves, it was early 2009 and the book was “The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women: A Portable Mentor”, by Gail McMeekin. I’ve been an admirer of Jamie’s work ever since.
Two of my favorite things about Jamie are her love of journaling and her generosity of spirit. She offers lots of Takeaways at the studio and currently has a Do-Good project to empower girls called, Give a Girl a Journal.
I encourage you to become a member of the studio where, “You’ll be immersed in a world of inspiration, magic & creativity – delivered through workshops, coaching, a podcast, videos, a reading nook and a newsletter that keeps you in the know.” And she has studio kittens!
