New Moon in CapricornNew phase

I’m in the visualizing process of the new moon phase of the Capricorn lunation cycle

This New Moon is in my 9th house conjunct my Midheaven opposite my Moon conjunct Saturn. An indication that I’ll be spending this cycle reviewing my ambitions, how I’m seen in the public eye, and how my drive for respect as an authority conflicts with my desire to be a hermit. All in an effort to reframe my approach to achieving professional success.

This review period, fostered by the Mercury Retrograde cycle, makes it an excellent month for me to look at my goals and create a plan of action for the next 3 months. I’ll be clearing the clutter from my goals the rest of this cycle and planning how I will manage my time during the coming Aquarius and Pisces lunation cycles.

Since 2016 begins my #1 personal year, the year for seeding a vision of the physical, emotional and spiritual goals I want to achieve over the next decade: 2016- 2024, I’ll be taking all of 2016 to become clear about my intent and purpose for the next 10 years. The question I’ll be answering this year is “What’s Next?”

Here is the imagery that has held my attention since the New phase began on January 9:

Mixed Media Mandala for 2016 my #1 Year

I sat down to color the Capricorn Mandala – pushed it aside and made this  mandala instead.

Color the Mandala for Capricorn.

Color Vibration for Capricorn: Indigo

“Similar to the attributes of blue, but Indigo’s energy runs very deep – consider the unknown depths of the sea along with emotion, strength, fluidity, persuasiveness, expressiveness, and pervasiveness. Indigo is affiliated with the planets: Saturn and Neptune. Its zodiac signs are: Capricorn and Pisces. Indigo is associated with the numbers: Five and Seven. Employ the color indigo for: Invoking clarity of purpose, aiding in spiritual healing.” –

Color Vibration for #1: Red

“In colour composition red is the most reliable colour surprise. Red is charged with emotion and promise. Red speaks for heroism and bravery, honesty and patriotism. Red is also the red badge of courage, redcoats, the thin red line, red sails in the sunset, and a jolly red nose…. Red means anger, fire, storms of the heart, love and war. Even women can be scarlet. More than any other colour, red is loaded for action.” – Robert Genn

1 (of the sun or another source of light) give out a bright light: the sun shone through the window.
glow or be bright with reflected light: I could see his eyes shining in the light of the fire.
[ with obj. ] direct (a flashlight or other light) somewhere in order to see something in the dark: an usher shines his flashlight into the boys’ faces.
