Virgo lunation cycle (September 9 – October 8)

Gibbous phase (September 20 – 24)

“Work joyfully and peacefully, knowing that right thoughts and right efforts inevitably bring about right results.”
~ James Allen (1864 – 1912) British philosophical writer

The Virgo lunation cucle is about your occupation, daily routines, diet, health, hygiene, employees, pets and how and where you strive to be of service. Look back to your intentions at the beginning of this cycle (September 9 – 12) to see how they can be refined. This is an excellent period to use your analytical skills to recognize patterns of behavior that either support or hinder your vision for the cycle.

Stimulate your creativity by looking at your vision in a new way. Surprise yourself by doing something you’ve never done before. It can be as simple as doing your morning routine in reverse. Add a touch of whimsy to stimulate your creativity. The idea is to shake up those preconceived ideas of perfection, allowing your creativity to flow.

This is a prime time to review writing and communication projects. Journal. Make expressive marks on canvas, paper or an electronic tablet. Anchor your revised vision by giving it form. Draw a picture, take a photo, create a collage, or a mind map.

Visual stimulation during the Gibbous phase has a profound effect on the nervous system. To calm anxiety that is natural during this phase, focus on images of peace and tranquility. Guided meditations can be especially effective at calming and centering a scattered mind.
