Our advice for this cycle:
Aries Lunation Cycle, April 15 – May 15, 2018:
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and marks the beginning of the astrological year. During the Aries cycle, consciously or unconsciously, you are planting seeds of intention for the next twelve months.
The New Moon in Aries begins a 29.6-day cycle with the focus on you as an individual. This is the cycle for self-discovery and self-knowledge. Get to know yourself. Do mirror work, draw self-portraits, meditate on the phrase “I AM”. Spend as much time as you can picturing yourself as a Spiritual Warrior.
Think about the roles you’ve played in life and how you have identified with them. Who are you now and who are you becoming?
It’s the time to set your vision for the year, to create the beginnings of something new. Choose a new direction. Create a new look. Renew your sense of purpose.
Most importantly, seek clarity of vision.
Highlights of the New Moon at 26º Aries 02′:
This year’s late-degree arrival of the Aries lunation cycle kicks off Spring with an extra rush of energy and excitement (Mercury stationary direct hours before the New Moon). The two main aspect patterns in the chart involve the Venus-Jupiter opposition, enhancing the idea that more is better. Material needs and sensual appetites are highlighted in the effort to balance conflicting desires for intimacy in relationship. The challenge of this opposition is applying MODERATION.
The last Full Moon phase (March 31 – April 2) brought an awareness of who you are and what you need within a relationship. The Pluto aspects can strengthen the determination for committing and transmuting a relationship. The Mercury aspects, though more challenging to integrate, offer the opportunity to identify and share what you’ve learned about your relationship needs. and it is the key to unlocking the promise of a new beginning this cycle.
During this lunation cycle you have the opportunity to get in touch with who you are. You are able to see yourself in new ways. Use this cycle to imagine a new you.
Allow yourself time to review your thoughts prior to sharing them.
The Full Moon phase, April 29 – May 3, will bring the awareness necessary to assess and determine what will be addressed during the Taurus lunation cycle that begins on May 15.
Questions you might explore for personal insight include:
- How and where could you be more independent, innovative and courageous?
