The Full Moon phase marks the half-way point of the lunar cycle. This is a point of awareness, when you can see the result of your efforts thus far through the cycle. It is a time to pause and reflect upon your experience.
The Full phase of the Sagittarius lunation cycle offers insight on how your beliefs and prejudices affect your emotional security. During the Full phase, your interactions with others become the vehicle for self-awareness. Consider how your relationships reflect your overall philosophy of life. Observe the links between home, family, tradition and education, culture, perspective.
Act to balance and integrate reason with emotion. Be sensitive to the moods of others, especially family members and those you live with. The challenge is to integrate the need to nurture and be nurtured with the desire for self-mastery and respect.
The two can be balanced by taking responsibility for your emotions by owning your feelings. It takes courage to share one’s thoughts and emotions. Be creative in the expression of your truth and generous with your tolerance when others share theirs.
Although we are in the Sagittarius lunation cycle, this Full Moon takes place across the Capricorn – Cancer axis, suggesting that during the course of this phase you will gain insight not only to where you stand in relation to your goal for this cycle but also into the workings of the upcoming Capricorn lunation cycle (January 5 – February 4, 2019).
Tension is best released via sound during this phase. Listen to music that evokes your sense of belonging, whether traditional songs of the season or the soothing lullabies of your youth.
